Pre-Felted French Knit’s Slippers November 5, 2009

Funny to imagine these as the dainty little slippers…a bit fugly at the moment, but hopefully, in a few hours and after a day or so of drying, they will look elegant!  That’s the fun of felting…..

This is the story so far with Jemma’s slippers!  She also has chosen Malabrigo for her slippers (the colourway is Brown Berries)

My only concern with this pattern is if we are making these as presents how do we know if they will fit certain people’s feet?

I have high arches and my friend whom I making them for is totally flat footed……any suggestions or does it not matter!
    Happy Knitting!

I would say just go ahead and make them to your specifications. Although they are pretty sturdy, they will shape to your feet(or your recipients) with wear. As far as length differences you can always do a search for foot sizes and measurements.
